This is an urgent message from Orange County Water Control & Improvement District No. 1.
Due to the freezing weather and the high volume of leaks that have occurred, the water system is shutting down.
The District is NOT shutting the water off, the system is going down on its own due to water loss from leaks.
District personnel are aware and are diligently working to get the System back online. We are urging everyone that has encountered leaks and/or broken pipes to either repair their pipes or shut their water off. Doing so will greatly help with keeping the water system on line.
